I just wanted to thank everyone
for their great effort in making this festival such a fantastic success. Even members from other bonsai
clubs could not believe that this was our first show. This
success helps us continue to bring a
high level of bonsai programs and talent to our club.
Many thanks to the vendors (Todd Hansen,
Jack Hoover and John Romano) as well as Holdridge's Nursery for the trees and shrubs
used in our workshops. Thanks to all the membership (and their supportive
spouses and family members) for all the little details and the not-so-little
hours spent in preparation. The membership really came through with their wonderful collections.
Thank you Todd
Hansen, John Romano and Charles Chu for the excellent
demonstrations. A special thanks to Glenn, Kathy, Jeff, and all the
Connecticut College Arboretum
staff and members who opened the doors allowing us to use their
facilities.
